Foster + Partners发布了中国招商银行总部在深圳的施工图像，目前大楼已封顶。建筑南侧的设计灵感来源于传统中国折纸的几何形状，这在中国文化中具有重要意义。与此相比，北侧的外观则以简单的形式为特征，形成鲜明对比。

Foster + Partners工作室负责人Grant Brooker表示：“这座新塔楼将成为深圳城市肌理的独特补充，并将成为招商银行的持久象征。建筑宽大的弯曲窗户提供了壮观的深圳湾景观。窗户的切割设计能反射光线，在阳光下闪耀，并映照出天空的动态。我们希望捕捉到日出和日落时光线的温暖，让塔楼的外观不断变化，永远不会有两次相同的样子。”

塔楼的外立面结合了玻璃和不锈钢，设计旨在通过建模过程平衡太阳遮蔽、自然采光和热负荷，从而降低能耗。底层设有复杂的纹理不锈钢天花板，与简单的石墙形成对比。建筑还融入了水景和绿化，以连接住户与自然。

该项目南侧的综合体与周围城市环境相辅相成，包含零售和文化设施、办公空间、酒店及会议中心。一个中央轴线将公共公园与塔楼相连，并有两个新的广场与之交汇。
