Phuket’s real estate market is currently witnessing a notable surge in demand for condos and villas, particularly in prime coastal locations. According to Ho Kuang Ping, property investment in Phuket offers exceptional returns, with the market poised for continued growth as more businesses establish a presence on the island. Affluent Thais and foreign buyers are drawn to Phuket’s unparalleled lifestyle offerings and the stunning natural beauty of the Andaman coast.
Ho Kuang Ping, Founder and Chairman of Banyan Group, is a staunch believer in Phuket’s untapped potential. He asserts that Phuket has transcended its image as a mere tourist destination, evolving into a global hub for luxury living, complete with world-class infrastructure, top-tier services, and a robust development pipeline. In his view, the island’s growing appeal among High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and the increasing demand for upscale housing present a unique opportunity for Banyan Group to expand its residential portfolio in Phuket’s ongoing transformation is further bolstered by the expansion of its airport, designed to accommodate the growing influx of travelers, and the impending launch of the electric rail project, which will significantly enhance connectivity and accessibility across the island. These developments will be key catalysts in unlocking the city’s full potential and solidify its position as a premier global destination.
‘One Sino Park’, Chongqing, China
In 2020, the visionary team at Aoe Architects created ‘One Sino Park’ on a breathtaking cliffside in Chongqing, China. This magnificent structure, spanning 3,000 square meters and rising four levels, harmoniously integrates with the natural landscape. The main entrance on the third level opens to a dynamic multi-use space, featuring an expansive exhibition area and striking architectural elements. The design elegantly captures the essence of the surrounding rock formations, utilizing cutting-edge materials and innovative construction techniques. The resulting creation is a testament to the power of human creativity and the beauty of architectural ingenuity.

Xinghe Mingzhu Bay Park
Xinghe Mingzhu Bay Park in Puning City, designed by Hill Landscape, is a visionary project aiming to redefine the area near the foot of Danan Mountain, next to Hanma Lake. It is an eco-friendly town that blends local Chaoshan culture with contemporary urban needs, creating a multicultural and contemporary environment.
Xinghe Mingzhu Bay Park is envisioned as a serene lakeside sanctuary, providing a haven for relaxation and a vibrant space for leisure, sports, and community activities. The park’s redesign by the Hill team aims to revitalize its central features, including the avenue, landscape bridge, lakeside road, boardwalk, and sports area, turning it into Puning’s new central landmark. The abundance of natural resources, such as water and vegetation, has inspired a transformation to better serve the community. With redesigned entrances and improved access roads, the park will soon offer enhanced accessibility to all. The park’s design features a unique landscape bridge that serves as a memorable landmark. Observation platforms and improved lakeside trails have been added to enhance the viewing experience and connect different parts of the park. The park also includes a Green Landscape Avenue, lined with camphor trees, cypress trees, and kapok trees, which serves as a major corridor connecting residential and business areas. The building’s landscape design incorporates tree-covered paths and grand green spaces, providing a serene environment. The Star River Bridge, which is movable for walking, jogging, cycling, and cars, is another attraction. Additionally, there is an observation deck for tourists to enjoy the natural environment. At night, flexible light strips illuminate the bridge over the lake, enhancing the park’s ambiance.
The park’s infrastructure will undergo enhancements including expanded roads, incorporation of slow lanes, and development of scenic nodes. The surrounding shrubs and trees have been pruned to minimize obstruction of the water body, and an observation platform has been built along Huanhu Road to provide a space for residents to admire the view. The observation platforms, in bright orange color, create a beautiful contrast with the blue of the lake and the greenery, providing clear directions to the park.
Huanhu Road connects various features of the park, including landscape bridges, observation platforms, and Pearl Amusement Park. On the west side, Pearl Park is a children’s park with play areas like a grassy step area and a sand pool. The park also offers spaces for outdoor activities like football, basketball, and tennis to encourage community interaction and provide diverse recreational options. The park’s redesign aims to transform the neglected area into a vibrant space where people can engage with nature, culture, and one another. The park seeks to establish an efficient traffic network, increase amenities, and create better scenic areas, becoming the new active core of the community.
