Though these potentially pioneering lands are a bit out of the epicenter area, have been influenced by Bangkok’s transformation into world-class prime locations and have advanced thanks to this innovative approach to urban living. The venture is likely to become “the New Influential Global City” building up Thailand’s international status and economy. An increasing number of diverse commercial outlets in these areas are getting ready to open their doors to the public, offering new lifestyle solutions to the market. Our vision for these developing areas is to create the center of Bangkok, a vibrant urban hub where every square inch, with almost 0.5 acres to 3 acres, is infused with care and purpose. This planned community will blend green spaces into its design, which should enhance Bangkok’s urban landscape and foster a welcoming environment for all.

Timber-Roofed Restaurant, Chengdu Jiaozi Avenue

The Timber-Roofed Restaurant, crafted by Shanghai-based BEHIVE Architects, stands as a testament to innovative architectural harmony. Its twisted roof effortlessly connects disparate shapes, resembling a delicate wing that offers a sense of freedom and dynamism. The steel-wood hybrid structure, with its grid-like glulam beams and aluminum panels, creates a captivating dialogue between human artistry and natural surroundings. At night, the gentle glow of the LED lights transforms the roof into a mesmerizing work of art, showcasing the beauty of design and light.

The Geelong Library and Heritage Center

The Geelong Library and Heritage Center, designed by ARM Architecture and located in Geelong, is an eight-level structure with a distinctive geodesic dome, partially buried and artfully positioned between significant heritage sites like the Geelong Peace Memorial and the Geelong Art Gallery. The building’s exterior is clad in a unique pattern of hexagonal and pentagram-shaped glass-reinforced concrete panels, with muted brown tones that create a visual link to its historical neighbors while maintaining its distinct modern identity. The west wall of the building merges with the surrounding Johnstone Park, featuring crystalline glass shards reminiscent of a grotto entrance, enhancing the connection between the structure and nature. Inside, the library offers a versatile and sustainable space, with various levels dedicated to community engagement, learning, and cultural preservation. It is equipped with innovative sustainable features, including a displacement air system, in-slab floor heating, and a large solar array, ensuring the building meets high environmental standards while providing a welcoming and functional community hub.
