Though these potentially pioneering lands are a bit out of the epicenter area, have been influenced by Bangkok’s transformation into world-class prime locations and have advanced thanks to this innovative approach to urban living. The venture is likely to become “the New Influential Global City” building up Thailand’s international status and economy. An increasing number of diverse commercial outlets in these areas are getting ready to open their doors to the public, offering new lifestyle solutions to the market. Our vision for these developing areas is to create the center of Bangkok, a vibrant urban hub where every square inch, with almost 0.5 acres to 3 acres, is infused with care and purpose. This planned community will blend green spaces into its design, which should enhance Bangkok’s urban landscape and foster a welcoming environment for all.

Engineer and Information Technology School, University of Technology Sydney

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney, designed by Denton Corker Marshall, stands as a beacon of innovation and progress at the heart of the city campus. The building’s striking design, enveloped by four tilted and skewed aluminum plates, symbolizes creativity and ingenuity. With fourteen levels above ground and four below-ground, it houses cutting-edge lecture rooms, academic offices, seminar rooms, teaching and research laboratories, a student union, and vibrant food and recreation areas, as well as convenient bicycle and car parking facilities.

The Rooftop Remodeling Falkestrasse

The Rooftop Remodeling Falkestrasse by Wolf D. Prix and Coop Himmelb stands as the first realized deconstructivist building, marking a significant moment in architectural history. Completed in 1988 in Vienna, this loft conversion for the law firm Schuppich, Sporn, Winischhofer, Schuppich extends upwards to add a dramatic, two-story structure with a total area of 400 sqm. The project is defined by its bold, energy-infused lines that break through the existing roof, creating a dynamic spatial experience. A steel arc forms the structural backbone, while open, glazed surfaces interplay with closed, folded elements to control light and views. The complex spatial relationships, akin to a cross between a bridge and an airplane, translate the conceptual energy into a tangible architectural reality, showcasing the innovative and groundbreaking spirit of deconstructivism.
